USB to Parallel IEEE 1284 Printer Adapter Cable PC (Connect your old parallel printer to a USB port)

USB to Parallel IEEE 1284 Printer Adapter Cable PC (Connect your old parallel printer to a USB port)
If you have a parallel printer and a PC with no parallel port, this is for you. It allows you to use a USB port for the printer. And it works perfectly as advertised. This cable was a little short for my liking, but I attached a three foot USB extension cable and haven't skipped a beat. Highly recommended and a no-brainer to install and use.

I put together a new computer and realized my old laser printer would not work any more due to the need for a parallel port which didn't exist on the new motherboard. This cable saved me from buying a new printer. It worked first try and seamlessly. Running this connected to a HP Laserjet 6p from a AMD Phenom X4 955 X4, Vista Ultimate.
